Start with the limb as a pressure field.

Interface appears

The band is the interface.

Compression floss is a flat elastic band wrapped around a local area. It becomes a controllable interface between skin, pressure, and movement — not a magic material.

Pressure + occlusion

Compression can act like a local tourniquet.

The band creates circumferential pressure and can temporarily restrict local flow when wrapped tightly enough. That tourniquet-like effect is a safety boundary, not the goal.

Avoid claims about flushing, breaking tissue, fixing injuries, or forcing mobility. Prefer: may temporarily change local sensation, warmth, and movement options.

Shear layer

Movement under the wrap adds shear force.

The useful part is often not the wrap alone, but gentle motion while wrapped: skin, band, and deeper layers slide relative to each other under pressure.

Keep the motion small enough that the nervous system can stay curious instead of guarded; shear is a dose, not a dare.

Reassessment loop

The after-effect is the test.

A WBC floss protocol should end with a comparison: range, ease, warmth, contact, or sensation before and after. If there is no useful after-effect, the tool does not earn more intensity.
